The Shepherd's Voice, God's Sheep is Listening

Updated on October 23, 2016

Recognize the Voice of God

There are many voices talking to us, it's our responsibility to choose which voice has our best interest at heart. Where are these voices that we hear? Yes they are voices in our head, but in a normal way; negative voices are talking in our minds and also positive ones. Do we know which voices are the positive voices and which are the opposite?

Other voices that we hear are: television, radio, and other people. Many times television is not having our best-interest-at-heart. Television is for your entertainment and the actor's job is to do that, no matter what message it is conveying rather bad or good. Television personalities main goals are to make money from you (the consumer) by means of entertainment. Most people on TV are seen as idols, and they can fake their real personality on screen the majority of the time, even in interviews.

The voices from TV are saying many things, some new things and some subliminal. Some people are raised in the TV industry, and going to the Hollywood parties and whatnot, they may not know the difference between right and wrong. But the righteous people on the outside looking in, know the difference between right and wrong more often than not.

If you had been taught the Bible and you read your Bible, then it may be easier to recognize the voice of God. The voice of our Father in Heaven will speak to your conscience; reminding you of righteous ways. The people that listen to God's voice the most will let it show in their actions and behavior.

Listening to and Recognize the Voice of God

The Shepherd's voice is the voice we all should recognize. The media might tell us that marriage in NOT needed anymore, and that it's alright to live together and have sex. This new age philosophy is growing every day, and there's more where that came from. Men on television kissing other men in the mouth such as Lil Wayne (famous Rap Hip Hop Artist) and other men in television; they have a very sick-twisted agenda. The question is, what does our Father in Heaven say about these certain type of activities?

Also, men indulging into pornography and masturbating is perverse behavior. You're probably thinking right now "who says so?" Well it's in the Bible, that perverse and unclean behavior is wrong. People do research on just about everything, but we all might want to do most of our research in God's word.

We must not let the 'new age philosophies' in; TV, radio, books, and the internet rule over our thoughts. We must be renewed by our minds in the Bible, which is God's voice and strong hold over our minds and spirit.

God is for us, He is not against us, and He has our best interest at heart. We have to help him have our best interest at heart, and stop fighting to feed our lusts and our emotions. God wants the best life for you, and you have to want the best life for yourself as well. We have to indulge in His ways, because His ways are a pathway of light.

Listen to the Voice of God

Do we listen to the voice of God when He is saying that fornication is wrong? Or are we listening to our environment, saying that it is alright to live together and have sex? The people around us have a lot to say against the word of God. Television and radio are speaking about many things, but the Father through Christ is speaking about many things also. God is saying to His sheep, to follow the commandments from Genesis through Revelation. His voice is the commandments, He will steer you in the right direction. Follow the ways of Jesus Christ, He and the Father are one.

Verse of Scripture - The Voice of God

"And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers." John 10:4

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand." John 10:27

Recommended; read the whole Scripture of John 10.
